There are several ways to get to the Stamford Senior Center. If you drive, we have free parking in the Government Center parking garage. Enter the garage on either Washington Blvd or Tresser. Senior Center reserved parking is available on the 3rd floor. Please make sure to pick up your parking permit at our front desk . For those who don't drive, check out our options below.
Connecticut Transit Buses
CT Transit District operates public buses that can bring you right in front of the center. Two hour Local Bus passes are $1.75 each and Reduced Fare Senior Ten Ride passes are $7.65 each.
Bus tokens are provided to our members to get to and from the center at no cost as grant funding is available. A suggested donation is requested. To recieve your bus token from the center, visit our reception desk. Bus tokens can also be purchased on the first floor of the Government Center.

Easy Access Door to Door
Norwalk Transit District provides door to door para transporation for individuals who meet their criteria and cannot ride the public bus. Individuals must first apply and be approved for this service. Applications are available at the center. The cost for Easy Access is $2.80 each way. The Senior Center provides two one way tickets to our members each day to get to and from the center, as funding permits. A suggested donation is requested. Please inquire at the front desk.

Share the Fare Taxi
Share the Fare is for Stamford residents aged 62 or older and disabled individuals. The program works with local taxi companies. Voucher booklets with a face value of $50 can be purchased for only $25.
Voucher booklets can be purchased at the Cashiering and Permitting Dept. on 1st floor of Government Center.
Taxi rides are booked directly with the taxi company.
