The Stamford Senior Center is proud to be designated as a Community Focal Point by the Southwestern Connecticut Agency on Aging.
This meaningful recognition affirms our ongoing commitment to serving older adults and family caregivers with dignity and respect. As a designated focal point, the Stamford Senior Center is recognized as a visible and trusted source where individuals can turn to for reliable information, assistance and enriching programs that enable them to live independent, vibrant lives with maximum dignity and respect. According to the the Older Americans Act, a focal point is a highly visible, trusted place where the community can obtain information and access to aging services. Christina Crain, Executive Director of the Stamford Senior Center said- “We remain deeply committed to offering high-quality services that support healthy, independent aging and enhance the overall well-being of older adults. Our work is guided by our vision of building an inclusive community where older adults are valued, respected and empowered to live their best life.”
